THE INDUS VALLEY RETURNS & REFUNDS
If you receive a damaged product or a product which is not as mentioned in the website, we will initiate a return / refund based on the case.
If we send across a product in perfect condition in terms of look, dimension and colour and you are not happy with it, you can return the product back to us.
Upon receiving the product, we will transfer the full amount minus the shipping costs. Delivery & Logistics is expensive in India and we are determined to be a self-sustainable business. Please understand where we come from.
7 Day Return Policy
We offer you complete peace of mind while ordering at The Indus Valley – you can return all items within 7 days of receipt of goods. Please ensure however that the product is unused and the tags, boxes and other packaging is intact.
If you are not satisfied with what you have bought, we’ll gladly take it back within 7 days from the date of delivery. If you have paid by card then we will reverse the payment. In case of Cash on Delivery as modes of payment, we do a NEFT payment in the registered name of the customer.
If an item is found damaged or incorrect as per description on our website or units are missing as per ordered quantity, please send a snapshot of the outer packaging and products received to our customer care at email@example.com or call us on 9884188444 within 3 days of receipt of the product. We will issue either a full refund, or a different item in exchange, as per your request. Please note that replacements are subject to availability of the particular product.
- Clay, Soapstone, Wood: Item is chipped or broken
- Iron, Cast Iron: Item is chipped
- Copper: Big dent or product is broken
Following shall NOT be eligible for return or replacement:
- Time elapsed beyond 7 days after delivery
- Damages due to misuse of product
- Any item which has been used
- Products with tampered or missing serial / UPC numbers
- Combos sold won’t be taken back/returned as individual units
- Minor scratches or minor variation in colour will not be accepted for return. As these are natural materials, each product will be unique with minor difference between each product
Any product that is returned without all original packaging and accessories, including the box, manufacturer’s packaging if any, and all other items originally included with the product(s) delivered

Clay, Soapstone: Products should be sent back in original package with instructions provided by our team. Opened or used boxes will not be accepted as returns. As these are fragile and easily breakable, additional tapes and packing materials, care should be taken to safely pack it.
Wood, Copper, Iron, Cast Iron: Products should be received in original packaging and sealed condition. Opened or used items will not be accepted as returns.
You can Contact Us (email@example.com or +91-9884188444) to initiate a return. You will receive a call explaining the process, once you have initiated a return.
Wherever possible we will facilitate the pick-up of the item. In case, the pick-up cannot be arranged by us, you can return the item through SpeedPost courier service and share tracking with us.
The money will be refunded back to the payment mode/account that was originally used to make the transaction.
Once you have requested the cancellation of item(s) in your order, The Indus Valley will complete the cancellation and initiate the refund.
Yes, a return can be created at item level and if you have ordered multiple items, you can initiate a return for a partial quantity.

Refunds are issued when
– Seller cannot provide replacement
– When a dispute has been ruled in your favour
Once a replacement request is created, we send you an email detailing the pickup process as well as provide details about the replacement.
In most cases, the replacement item is delivered to you at the time of pick-up. In all other cases, the replacement/refund is initiated after the originally delivered item is picked up.
If you don’t get the return within the promised date, contact us immediately.
If you have received a mail from us confirming your refund request then rest assured that we have initiated your refund request and are following up with financial organisations for the same.
Sometimes financial organizations take a longer time to process the refund request. However, if the refund hasn’t happened by the date we promised, you can contact us. We will gladly help you.
Please call us to cancel your return request and we will do the needful. In case the replacement is already dispatched, you can reject the replacement item when it is delivered to you.
Replacements/Exchanges are subject to availability of stock with the seller. If the product is out of stock or a replacement/exchange cannot be issued, full refund will be provided on successful pick up of the product at no extra cost.
