How do I season a new cast iron cookware?
- Here is an easy guide to season new cast iron cookware:
- 1. Boil water in the new cast iron cookware.
- 2. Once cooled, wash it with warm, soapy water and a steel scrubber/scrub pad.
- 3. Rinse thoroughly and dry the cookware with a paper towel/cloth.
- 4. Place it on the gas stove. Heat it till water evaporates.
- 5. Spread a layer of cooking oil (any edible oil) on the entire cookware - top and bottom.
- 6. Heat the cookware till smoke is visible.
- 7. Saute chopped onions or vegetable waste till it turns brown.
- 8. Discard the content.
- 9. Wipe thoroughly and store cookware in a dry place until next use.

I have ordered 3 products from indus valley worth 6800
Only 1 product is received and marked as all products delivered
I have reached out to customer raised a complaint
After that again only 1 product delivered out of 2
2nd also raised complaint
After 10 days of raising complaint
I have received 3 rd product which was damaged
Daily calling to customer care and writing emails but still my issue didn't resolve
They are saying that since you have received damaged product we didn't collect it, you can dispose the product or use it.
Then what about my money
They are not refunding amount nor replacing the product
What should I do with the damaged product
I should loss because of buying the product in indus valley

Product quality is very poor, got rust within a week. And it is too sticky. I spoke with customer service and didn't get proper response. I already expressed my view on your adds if I don't get refund then I will post comments on your adds.

Good Product but without proper protected handle it is difficult to use. Silicon rubber handle must be included. I am trying to buy but not available on your site.
