Patra Poda Macha Recipe Mustard Paste: -
- Black mustard seeds 1 tsp
- Yellow mustard seeds - 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds - 1 1/2 tsp
- Water - 2 tbsp
Fish Marination: -
- Any fish of your choice - 2 piece
- Mustard paste - 4 tsp
- Finely chopped onion - 1/2
- Finely chopped tomato - 1/2
- Finely chopped garlic cloves - 5
- Finely chopped coriander leaf
- Slit green chilli - 2
- Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
- Kashmiri chilli powder- 1/2 tsp
- Salt to taste
Mix and marinate fish for 15minutes
Add 2 tbsp of mustard oil
Mix and marinate for another 15minutes Banana leaf: -
- Cut banana leaf into rectangular shapes
- Keep the flame in medium
- Show banana leaf on the flame 3-4 times
- Banana leaf will become soft Wrapping : -
- Keep roasted banana leaf on a plate
- Place 1 piece of marinated fish
- Place some masala also
- Wrap it carefully
- Tighten it with help of a thread
Cooking process: -
To a pan,
- Add 1 tbsp of mustard oil
- Place the banana leaf wrapped fish on pan
- Keep frying in low flame until water doesn’t stop to come from inside of leaf
It will hardly take 20-25 minutes
