Pudina Chicken Curry:

To a bowl, add below ingredients

  • Chicken - 1 Kg 
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp 
  • Kashmiri chilli powder - 2 tsp 
  • Salt - 1 tsp 
  • Finely chopped mint leaf - 1 cup 
  • Mustard oil - 1 tbsp

Mix all ingredients well and marinate for atleast 1 hr

To a Kadhai,

  • Add 4 tbsp of mustard oil
  • Sauté 2 bay leaf,
  • 4 dry red chilli
  • 4 crushed cardamom
  • Add 4 - 5 thinly sliced onions

Cook until it turns light brown in color

  • Add 2 tbsp of ginger garlic paste
  • 1 cup of finely chopped mint leaf


Cook for another 3 - 4minutes in low to medium flame


Add marinated chicken and mix well


Cover and cook until chicken starts to release water


Add 1 tsp of coriander powder, 2 tsp of cumin powder and 2 tsp of kashmiri chilli powder, give it a good mix


Cook until chicken becomes tender


In a tadka pan , add 1 cinnamon stick, 4 cardamom, 10 cloves and 1/2 tsp of cumin


Roast until aromatic and make a fine powder of it


Add 2 tsp of prepared garam masala and give it a good mix


Serve hot with rice or roti!
